Spitzen and Clark
Spitzen and Clark were my favorite German Shorthaired Pointers and lived with us for 12 years. They loved the great outdoors as much as they loved sneaking under the covers on a cold night. It's hard to believe they have been gone so long.
If you click on their names you will see how they fit into our lives.

Here's a little video of Clark and Spitzen playing in the park across the street from home...
Silly stuff...
Now here is some really silly stuff. My fantasies.
Real Time Traffic...
Here are some pictures of my first grown up toys...my cars. Every boy waits for his first set of wheels. There are many more cars to choose from today, but I still had some pretty cool toys. I have one or two new ones to add, so check back.
"Pal"

Pal is 1/2 German Shorthaired Pointer and 1/2 Labrador Retriever and spent his first year left pretty much on his own in a kennel. This led to a lot of "quirkyness."

Despite his extremely high energy level he caught on to life in a home very quickly. He has incredibly sharp hunting instincts yet is very gentle and loving...and grateful for a comfortable home. He finished "first in class" in his obedience training (mostly luck) and continues to learn good behavior every day.

He has been with us three years now and is just beginning to show signs of acting like an adult.
He loves to play in the backyard with Benny, our very cool Plotthound. Watch them play in this little video...
Work in Progress...
We moved recently and inherited a kitchen dating back to 1934. Cute. But the new kitchen is underway. It's been 23 years since we did this kind of thing in our last house. Take a look at a work in progress.
It is just about done now and we're very pleased with the way it turned out.  It's a very easy kitchen to cook in and we find ourselves spending a lot of time there.
Autumn...
Fall is the most colorful of seasons.  Some shots taken near home during a walk in the woods.
Sunsets...
These pictures of sunsets at our summer home prove that even on a normal evening the sunsets were spectacular.
Toys from my past...
